    CCB and CCR questions

Firstly i work and hubby doesnt but hes finding it hard looking after the kids all the time so i want to put them in daycare i know i can get 24 hours care is that for each kid or shared between them?
can we get more hours without hubby having to go on disability (has A&D issues) like a letter from his doctor of something hes only on newstart at the moment and can we qualify for CCR?
he is supposed to be looking for work so does that count?

He has to meet the work, study test. It should be listed on the website.

the 24 hours would be for each child. (so 2 days in childcare)

It can be increased but there would need to be a good reason why.

And No for the rebate. I wouldn't think so.

    CCB and CCR questions

To get the rebate he would have to be able to prove (if asked) that he was looking for 15 hrs a week. Personally I didn't take that risk when I wasn't working.. Although the chances of being checked on were really low, I knew that I wouldn't be looking for 3 hrs every week day..

I don't work and this is what Centrelink told me. I can get 24 hours care per child per week and get child care benefit to reduce my fees. ONLY if I want more care than that do I have to meet the work/study requirement.

If I qualify for the child care benefit (ie. if our joint income is below a certain level) then I qualify for the 50% rebate too. I asked her to qualify that at least three times because I was under the impression that I would have to meet the 15 hour per week work/study requirement to get either those things. Not true.

She mentioned that in theory you are meant to spend at least one hour per week looking for work so to make sure I have an up-to-date resume and a record of any job applications (which I have) but it's very unlikely that I would be checked.
