Honestly depends on what you want to do and where your interests lay.
With a 2 year old do you want to go to the theme parks? Or to the Grand Canyon etc.
DH and I are planning to take a trip with the kids to the USA. I have family in Oklahoma so we'll definitely be heading there but we'll probably stay for around 5weeks in their summer and would love some recommendations.
We're going to wait for the kids to be a little older. We've done a bit of travel with our DS1 and decided to wait until our DS2 is at least 2-3 before we go overseas.
So the only thing that's decided is that we'll prob stopover in Honolulu at some point but other than that, nothing planned. What do you recommend? Open to do a few road trips too.

Disneyland! It's the happiest place on earth!
I also loved San Francisco and New York is apparently very child friendly.
Grand Canyon is a must, you should not miss it. Vegas is great, very kid friendly.
Los Angeles - for Disneyland! Stay in Santa Monica - it is lovely. Definitely Honolulu.
We just did a USA holiday last year. Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon - all awesome! We are "nature" freaks, and Utah is the most beautiful place I've been to in my entire life. The drive from Zion National Park (OMG, go there!!!) to Bryce Canyon was so amazing we cried. Such a happy time and words cannot explain how beautiful it was.
i love new york, but am also loving the road trip with our two girls that we are currently doing down the pacific coast highway! whales, sea lions, deer to see. very cool. and the redwood forests are spectacular!
DH and I went to Orlando and spent 5 day doing the Disney and universal theme parks. It was fantastic, for our next trip we are planing on heading to Vegas .

Thanks everyone. I've been googling your suggestions and 4 weeks is just not long enough! We'll have to have a few trips I think.
I loved NY and San Fran. Also the Grand Canyon and surrounds - Sedona is nice while you're in the area.
