    Desposibles Leaking overnight?

    Hi
My little man is 3 and a bit months and he has been leaking though his Nappies overnight lately. I will change him when he has his feed during the night so I'd say in four hours he is filling and leaking through a nappy. Are there any suggestions on how to stop this happening? I'm havin to wash sheets everyday!

P.s we are using huggies crawler nappies and he is prob 7kg so I don't think it's a need to go up a size ?

Hiya my LO is only abt 8.5kg & I've got her on Huggies Walker (13-18kg) at night coz she just wee lots. It does come up to high up on her belly but we do it tight enuf so it's not loose & that seems to work. Maybe get a small pack & try it. U'll end up using them eventually. Good luck!

Do you have an Aldi in Queensland? My kids have never wet through the Aldi disposables. Another thing I used to find, when they were due to go a size up, they would wet through a Huggies nappy. I also found that when putting a Huggies nappy on, I had to make sure I pulled the leak side out so as to make sure it was on properly. When I didn't do this, they leaked through.

Veus - I've got one of the next size up from a friend and will try it tmrw night. Tonight she suggested just making sure I am putting his weewee down when I change him at night (which given its in the dark I can say I don't usually make a conscious effort to do) - she said this happened for her little man and found it was placement lol. Cuz he seems to get wet up the back of his shirt? It's like on his back up near and up towards his shoulder area lol talented little man I have!

Heather - we do have aldi here so I might get a pack of those to try as well. I really would like to find a solution before it gets really cold at night cuz then I knw it will Definatley wake him up!

    Thanks for your suggestions girls!

Wet high in the back does sound like an upwards pointing willy!
Make sure its down and try a bigger nappy, thats always worked for us

We always went up a size in huggies at night when that happened. Also make sure they are done up well, not tight but not too loose

Up a size is worth a try, and we did this once he was much older, but we also used a pull up over the top of the nappy which is a bit problematic when they are tiny still - maybe try another bigger sized nappy over the top of the normal sized one??? I also ended up using cloth nappies - might be worth getting a few pockets you can stuff yourself and just use at night?

A pair of fleece trackies or a sleepsuit will act as a waterproof cover as well. I have a champion wee-er too.

Avoid any nappy creams at night too.

Have you tried a cloth cover over the top?
