    warm fuzzies from colleagues

At my place of work, we have an annual getaway where everyone from the one day a week entry level employee through to the CEO and Managing Director come for the two days and participate in various seminars, team building activities, games and workshops.

At the one we had this year, one activity was that everyone got an A4 piece of thin card duct taped to their back, and everyone had 20 minutes or so to go around the room, writing "warm fuzzies" on other people's sheet of cardboard.

I just thought it was a great idea, and I wonder how much happier other employees at other work places (including full time parents!) might be if their colleagues were given a time and a place to (anonymously if desired) say a couple of nice things about each other.

I was really touched by some of the comments, and I'm considering sticking my sheet of card up on my wall by my desk at work, so if I'm ever feeling a little deflated or taken for granted, I can have a look and see what people really think of me.

I wonder whether we can all do something like this for each other, whether it's colleagues or other mums or fellow BBers or even our partners ...

Just a thought for the day

Aww, that is just a lovely activity! I'd put your list up at home & at work!
