    First bra

DD10 and myself went shopping for her first bra. She doesn't really need one but some of her friends have one and she's been asking for a while so I said yes. She was so excited, there was only 2 to choose from, the sports type ones and the padded. Off course she chose the padded because it is just like mums .

Did you think about the crop top ones. There are some pretty colours in the bonds range. My DD2 who is 20+ loves these and she said they are really comfortable.

Aww, that's sweet! I remember I was mortified when my mum decided it was time for me to get a bra, so nice to hear she was the instigator

My mum went and told all the neighbours after I got my first bra. It was so embarrassing. Good on you for supporting your DD hunny.

I started buying DD crop tops about 12 months ago. She started complaining about sensitivity, so I got them to stop the rubbing on her tshirt. I only buy the plain bonds ones though. No padding etc. My personal choice. She might get padding at 14

We have to go shopping again lol, yesterday in class the clips on her bra came undone so she had to ask to go to the toilet and fix herself up. I'll get her a crop top this time, I don't even understand why there is even need to make padded childrens bras.

Get her a few. DD has about 10 now. That way when she does actually start developing they're already there & she's in the habit of wearing them. We don't have to make a big deal out of it & have her all embarrassed when they're actually needed IYGWIM.

Shame it came undone so quick... Maybe take it back for a refund? Seems a bit dodgy.

The bonds crop top ones are great for little girls.

I find padded bras for little girls creepy! The bonds crop tops have cute designs, or any crop top really, they're much nicer than the boring grey, black or white I had.
