Magazine subscription for my 5yr old niece (birthday)

What magazine subscription would you recommend?

We have to post presents and I thought this year to save on postage we can purchase a mag subscription for her. She's in prep. Do you think she's too young?

I don't like those Disney/licensed mags that have a million ads in them trying to make kids think they need all that stuff like bratz dolls etc.... don't like that.

I am thinking something along the lines of a kids national geographic, learning about animals, different topic each month....

Anyone?

Have you googled mag shop?? They have a selection of child friendly mags and you can order through them too if you wanted to

My girls would love something like that - especially if it came with puzzles, maybe stickers etc. DD2 especially would think that was the best thing ever. Might have to look at it too - birthdays coming up so thanks for the idea!!

There's k Zone, Just kidding, Total Girl, Little Angel, Just Kidding Junior and an animal one I cannot remember!

Little Angel might be the best for her age.
