Oh and obviously I should add its not too hot in here or anything, we're in the carport with some windows down
So DD (5 months) and I have just come home from visiting a friend. Most of the car ride home DD cried and carried on except for the last 10 minutes where she (finally) fell asleep. Now DD is not the greatest daytime napper so the fact that she is asleep right now is wonderful.... Wonderful to the point that I'm staying in the car, leaving her in the carseat till she wakes. I know that if I get her out and try and to put her to bed, she'll wake straight away. So am i going OTT trying to keep her asleep.... I mean there are a million things I could/should be doing right now (making dinner, the laundry etc) but here I am sitting quietly in the car just so DD can have a good nap... Obviously I know that if I had another child this wouldn't be feasible, so why am I doing it now??

Nope. I have done it on a number of occasions myself. Enjoyed a little nap myself
Haha I do this all the time! Especially if both kids are asleep, it's my 5 minutes of peace!
Not OTT in my opinion. We do what we have to to get through the days!
I used to do it all the time too.
Been there, done that! Enjoy the relax in my opinion.
I've been known to take the long way home when both my ladies have fallen asleep so they get a good rest so it is even possible when you have more than one![]()
I used to do that regularly with ds1 although usually I was able to transfer him apart from a 6mth period where I'd sit in the car with my book or crocheting while he slept (usually on a Saturday)
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk so may be slightly confusing![]()
I've done it too! Usually In the middle of the day cuz then little man can last till his big afternoon nap! Husband thought I was mad lol!
Did that yesterday, only we decided to keep driving to nowhere in particular until he woke up. Wound up in snobsville and I might've found my "lotto house"![]()
