TTC with Endo.. share tips and advice for fellow sufferers

    Hi Guys,

I havent posted on here much so I hope im doing it right! just wanted to introduce myself and see if anyone would like to talk about what worked for them with helping get pregnant with Endo.. or what you're currently trying etc? I am 28 years old, I was diagnosed 2 years ago, and have since had 2 lap surgery's and 1 IVF cycle with a big FAIL! to all of it.
I am now trying some diet changes in hope that I will get some better results with our next cycle we try later in the year.

so come join me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! share your thoughts and experiences

GL with your TTC. I hope you have success soon.

For me, the lap made all the difference. We did our 5th IVF 2 months after my lap and that gave us DD. I was also doing acupuncture at the time.

Before the lap we did get 1 BFP, but it was a chem pg. That cycle I was only doing acupuncture and chinese herbs (and, obviously BD ).

Now that we're TTC#2, I've started back at acupuncture. Again, we got a BFP in my second cycle of acupuncture, but again it was a m/c. We're hoping we'll get a third natural BFP with acupuncture and that it will be third time lucky so we don't have to go back to IVF (we're suffering from IVF burnout, and definitely not ready to face IVF#6).

Thanks for the reply, its great to hear your story! yeah accupuncture is terrific! good luck with ttc#3 I know what you mean about IVF burnout... i've only done 1 cycle and have already had enough of it!!

I did accupuncture before and throughout my treatment but didnt take any herbs which maybe is what didnt quite get me to the BFP?? I did try herbs+ Acc about a year ago and did it for 3 months straight but it didnt make a difference for me at the time might take it up again...

I didn't take any herbs during the IVF cycles. Only in the cycles in between IVF. I wouldn't want to risk taking any during IVF as they could interfere with the meds or do other nasty things.

I did make some diet changes leading up to each BFP (mostly reducing/eliminating dairy and sugar), but I've also heard other women swear by the endo diet.

Hopefully you won't have much longer to wait.

Thank you for the update!! Makes me feel alot more positive to hear success stories like yours. I'm currently waiting for a lap for severe endo then onto IVF - have been TTC for about 2 years.
    Congratulations
