Don't use old antibiotics as they may be less strong, not the right ones, or not enough to get rid of the bacteria. Always, always, always throw out old antibiotics and get a new prescription from your GP.
Ive got mastitis -I think. I got sick on Tuesday, fever and chills and promptly went to bed with my baby. I had body aches, pains but no soreness or redness. Wednesday I felt slightly better, Thursday a bit worse but still no boob soreness. Went to work today and am worse again. I can not shake this headache and my fever is bad again. I've been on paracetamol but it's not doing anything. I've got some distant 250 in the fridge that are totally sealed with the tin foil, unopened. I got them as the go wrote a script strangely and they gave me 2 lots when I had my first child. I only took one lot and put the rest in the fridge. I recall my midwife telling me that antibiotics keep for ages and to store them there for next time. I've had mastitis several times and just gone to the go each time but now it's Friday pm and I'm too late for the gp. Do you think these are okay to take?
