    Parenting tip ;)

When your child goes home with a friend from school. Even if they have gone there before. GET THE ADDRESS

DS2 went home straight from school with a friend. I said yup I'll pick him up just after 5.. Smile wave.. Put DS3 in the car. Pick up DS1. Drop DS1 at hair dressers. Driving back to coffee shop. Oh F%#%$ (DS3 mum thats it your on the yellow dot for swearing ) whoops) I suddenly remembered I can't remember where they live,,, OMG

I ran into another mother at the shops. She didn't know.. Even saw a teacher.. She didn't know.. Rang the school.. no answer (4pm Fri) Messaging or ringing anyone I know that goes to the school. No one knows.

I knew the general area and even what the street looks like. Tried describing it to people.. No ONE KNOWS!!!!

OMG having a heart attack by this stage. Stressing out that I will be late picking him up and thats even if I can find him..

Driving up and down streets in the general area where I know the street was and LIGHTBULB. I see the street name.. Phew. The mum and I laughed and laughed.. She said. I would have just dropped him off. I remember your address..

I couldn't for the life of me remember her last name and didn't have her phone number.. Talk about stress.

oh and just for giggles. Ds3 turned to me and said.... Mum this is just bad parenting

    Ahhhh

I wasn't to worried about him as I knew he was safe. But I was more worried the mum would wonder why I wasn't there at 5. She had to go out at 5:30/. I was so stressed Its all good now though and I now have her phone number

I still can't believe I didn't think to grab her addy. I even thought ah its ok I know where they live. It was an unplanned visit sprung on us both as the bell rang lol..

Ds2 has actually come out in hives all over his back tonight. DH ever so helpful said maybe he is stressed due to his abandonment Thanks Hunny!! (no idea what rash is from but treating with anti histamines and cream)
