    Broncialitis making DS upchuck....boo.

Hey girls, DS2 is 3mths and has had a bout of broncialitis. When he coughs he strains so hard he ends up throwing up all his milk all over me and the couch!! Poor bugger. I have no experience with reflux as DS1 was a great feeder, and until now Ds2 was the same.

My question is, when he does this, usually in the middle of the night, should i then keep feeding him as he will be hungry again? Or just leave him because he probably feels crap enough as it is???

    Thanks girls!!

go by his signals. i tend not to feed after a big chuck, and will wrap and cuddl first, but if he seems hungry or doesn't settle i will offer the breast again.

maybe try feeding smaller meals more often, and try sitting bub up more (head above his tummy, not necessarily in sitting position iykwim)to help his milk go down.

    hope he feels better soon

DS had his 3 mth weigh in and had good weight gains! He is now back to feeding like a champ so hopefully he is through the worst of it!! The breast feeding journey is so full of ups and downs!! Thanks girls! J.
