Have you done it? Where did you start? What did you focus on?
I want to make changes in my life. I think I have found the right combination of need and desire to change myself, my thought's my life. I would like to do a vision board to help me, but I have no idea if I should focus on actually having sections or themes kind of like 'Weight loss' 'relationships' 'Money'. Or should it just be what I find and what really catches my eye, because what catches my fancy would likely be things which are on my mind, right? Or am I totally off with what I'm thinking I should do. My thoughts are pretty scattered right now, how do I focus on what I want? Sorry if this is jumbled and incoherent! My brain is going 10000 miles an hour!
I have done one once, and it did kind of work... I found it hard actually finding pictures etc of things that i had in my head if that makes sense. But some things that i did find i did get.. i found a picture of a property with horses, which i now live on (renting and the horses arnt mine lol but i do sit back when all the horses are there in the paddock and its the picture i put on my vision board!! I put a baby on there and i got a baby.. i put words like friendship and i have found myself meeting more like minded people.. i also put lottery tickets there with pictures of cash.. but that hasnt really worked out for me too much.. i did win $1000 once.. (which actually ironically MAY have been the total of the little pictures of cash i had.. never thought of that before!!!)I also wanted a new car at the time that i was making the vision board, and whil ei had the picture in my head, i didnt find an actual picture.. but i left an empty space for it that i knew what was symbolised there, and after about three months i had a photo of my new car to put on there as an acheivment
The tips i was given was to be specific... but also open. As in specific about what you want.. but not strict in your own mind with how you are going to get it.. for instance my mentor didnt agree with me putting lottery tickets on there to acheive money because her view was that yep- it was great that i wanted to attract more money, but that i was limiting myself by coupling it with the lottery tickets, and that it could be blocking the money coming because the universe might have other plans for me to gain more money, but by putting it with the lotto tickets, i was actually reducing my chances of it working.
I would take plenty of time trying to think of all the things that you want to have on there and then go looking for the visuals and keep looking and looking and gathering things that you get a feeling from, and then once you feel like you have everythig, then sit down and put it all together. You can still add to it, but do the majority of it in one go and be focussed on what your doing when you do it

I see it every morning when I walk out of my room.
One of my besties, who lives interstate was visiting and laughed when she saw it, specifically for one bit of it. I have a picture of a plane on mine, funnily enough the same type of plane my OH was flying when we met I wasn't exactly putting it out there that I wanted to be with a pilot.
I need to do more work on mine. Thank you for reminding me to work on it.
