MIL last minute gift ideas..

My MIL is seriously amazing.. so you would think i would be slightly more organised than i am..
its crept up on me this year, ok??!! haha

ideas? its in like.. 1 day.. i havent gotten SQUAT yet (also on a budget) Dh is away this week so is all like " you got this!!" .. yeah, thanks babe..

i am thinking of going to our local craft shop tomorrow and buying the things necessary to make a hand made card (she is very much into that kind of thing).. but that is as far as i have gotten..

hand made card is a great idea, one year I got some really small canvas's that I knew DS hand would fit on and painted his hand and gave them that.

As an older Mum ie, in your MIL age range, I like plants that can be indoor and outdoor. Is it possible to take her out for afternoon tea at the local shopping centre then walk around together just browsing.
She will love the handmade card and maybe your DD can do a drawing for her

i did this for FILs birthday/fathers day (cant remember) am trying not to repeat (though i will, if i have to )

This is a great idea, maybe i could make an "IOU" card that says to take her out for lunch, wont be able to take her out on sunday.
With the plants, she LOVES orchards.. we brought her fake (VERY nice ones) and real ones for about 3 years (birthdays, mothers day and christmas) because its all we could think of, then one year she hinted she had no more room for them.. so we gave up on that LOL

if you have green and red/pink paint, make a whole bunch of DD's hand prints, cut them out, and then make the green into a bush and the red/pink into flowers, on some paper with a picture by DD

We did it 2 years ago and I am going to do it again so they can see how much he had grown
