    Garage Sale tips

Gimme your tips peeps! I've gotta organise one for this coming saturday, for my uncle, and then we'll be having one here a few weeks later. I've never done one before, and don't wanna forget anything!

    So far I've -

1 - Advertised on several different sites
2 - Created a FB event for my Perth peeps
3 - Created a few different signs for newsboards and streetsigns

    What else is there?

Have you advertised in your local newspaper? People still check in there!

Price EVERYTHING - people don't want to wait to ask what the price is, they'll just walk away.

Have lots of change on hand.

    Good luck

Make sure you have food and drink for yourself if you're in it alone! I was so scared to go feed myself last weekend at mine, that I called a pizza to be delivered

Be prepared for a long day doing nothing, because there's no guarantee people will show up.

Have coinage as well as notes for change.

If your neighbours come for a stickybeak and say they'll pay you back as soon as they make sure [insert item here] is in working condition, don't trust them! I ended up getting paid (with a $100 note for $16 of stuff *sigh*) but only after chasing them up three days later
