I need some help with ideas please, DD is having a party on Saturday, she wants music and dancing. I just need some ideas on some games/activities that the girls could do. TIA.
Grab a heap of coloured nail polishes and some of tiny stick on pictures, or some nail art pens. They can all do each other's nails or hair. And you would be surprised, if you leave some free form dress ups (scarves, belts, sunglasses, hats) they will quite happily play with those and might even insist on giving some sort of talent show as well. Hmmm that's what happens at our house, anyway...
Another thing that works well at this age is to get them cooking their own food. Eg adding toppings to their mini pizzas, or making their own kebabs (choice of fillings on skewers) for the barbecue. Decorating biscuits or cupcakes is always popular. A chocolate fondue is another good one (not really an activity but takes them a while to eat it).
Singstar or dance marathon type games are good too.
DD absolutely loves the nail polish idea, we are going to make cupcakes and let the girls decorate their own, Tinks idea of statues together with your idea of dress up also and DD asked her brother if he would let the girls who would like to hold his snake, we'll see how many squeels we can get haha. I was thinking of some sort of dance off but don't want to turn it into a competition type thing so still thinking how to go about that one. Thanks for your ideas, I"m sure they'll have fun.

What about a friendship photoshoot. Set some props up, maybe a background and create some memories. They can be silly, loving, and most importantly, they can be themselves
