Got this text from Glenny this evening

Hiya. Can you let the girls know that C harlie J ames was born at 3.14 this afternoon. Big boy he was 9.4 pounds, or 4.28 kgs. He's breastfeeding like a pro and I'm completely in love!!


Since then I have heard that he has had another feed and she just can't take her eyes off him!

How totally and utterly wonderful Glenny. I know what a hard few weeks you and your DH have had. I'm sorry that DH can't call his dad and tell him the wonderful news. But I have no doubt that his very proud grandad is watching over Charlie now and forever.
