Nose picking

Does anyone have any advice to help me stop my 4.5 yr old son from picking his nose and eating it? It is so disgusting and nothing I have tried so far has helped (I've talked to him, I've tried time outs, I've tried taking away priveleges) when I catch him make him get a keleenex and wash his hands and tell him how yucky it is, but I can't get him to stop and it is driving me crazy.

Divert his attention. If you make it an issue he'll keep doing it.

This is my 3 & 5 year old - I have found that absolutely nothing stops them. Hopefully someone can help us - driving me insane too!!!!

Ignore it... the more you give that attention the more they do it!

My 2yo loves doing it - so gross!
