    Do you do it?

It's a cold, wet morning and DD's lift to school has just just cancelled. I am seriously contemplating driving her to school in my pj's. Is that bad? Does anyone else do it?

    No. Never.
But if I didn't get out of the car and stand about at school and drop in at the cafe before or after then I might.

I did contemplate skipping the shower this morning

    Define PJs

I always have trackies and a top - no bra, often jockless with crocs or similar. It could very well pass for pjs

Well, I took the plunge and did it. No cops pulled me over and the car didn't break down. phew!

It was too stressful, I don't think I"ll do it again

i often go in trackies socks and thongs.
but we havea drop off zone where the teachers get the kids out of the car so i dont have that risk.
i wouldnt be embarressed pulling over in my trackies though

always wanted to but have a fear of the car breaking down or something. It's pouring here this morning so chucked on some trackies but did leave my pj top on and just threw a jacket over the top, does that count?

I would never do it because 1 morning driving home from night shift I saw an accident and this woman got out the car in mochies and a dressing gown and I thought then never will I drive in PJ's!
Saying that when I was at uni the first time and staying on campus we regularly did trips to coles or maccas in PJ's but was 18 - 20 LOL

When we were kids, the lady up the road always drove her kids to school in her dressing gown. My mother was mortified by it! Which is probably why I've never done it. Our school is only 500m up the road, so I figured it was safe to go that far in my pj's. The worst part of it was walking from the front door to the car, thankfullly no one drove past but I hope the neighbours didn't see me!

I used to drive DH to work in only a dressing gown, so I can see myself being "that mum" when (if) I take Amelia to school

Nope. Got caught out once when I had a minor car accident while I wasn't wearing a shirt (traffic jam, very hot day).

Lol!! I don't have kids at school however I wouldn't do it unless I wasn't getting out of the car or if they were trackies I would.

No, only because when I was a kid there was a mum near us who would walk her kids across the road to the bus stop (and wait for the bus) in her dressing gown and rollers...think I was scarred for life lol.
