Ds3 is 3yo and booked in for a tonsillectomy/adenoids removal next tuesday.
Just wondering how other people's kids coped with the surgery and any advice/hints for the recovery afterwards.
Thanks!

My son was about that when he had both out... Make sure he has his most favorite comforting toy/s with him for when he comes out of the anesthetic... Lots of water afterwards, my son loved sucking on ice... He didn't much want to eat anything that wasn't soft but it didn't take long before he was eating fairly normally - 48hrs maybe?? Lots of ice cream - good for in the beginning and later for bribery!
