DS goes through 6 bibs a day, he chucks lots and also dribbles lots. i double bib alot of the time, but its hard to keep him dry.
he has nasty rash on his chin today. any tips to help relieve it? do you reckon it's just dribble/vomit rash?
wil post a pic when i can work it out
ETA - DS has a shower every morning and a bath every night. we just use water, and occasionally Gaia or medulla (sp?). I have putting QV cream on his dry cheeks and arms lately after his bath.
my ds had an eczema/dermatitis type of thing from his crazy dribbling. we tried to keep it as dry as possible & use natural type products but at one stage it got infected & he had to have ab's to clear ot ip. the doctor gave us a prescription for a cream thst is particularly good for the face & not a steroid cream. it was great & the only thing that worked for us. we had tried things like corn flour etc.
i can't tell you how happy i was the day i saw him suck the saliva back in & i could throw out the bibs
The girls used to get that when they dribbled a lot from teething, especially when we had bibs on them all day and it rubbed a little.
We used Bepanthen which seemed to help
Dj used to get this.
we used some conastian mixed with bypathum as the MCHN thought it might be a little thrush. it cleared then it was just bathathym after that. Dj's 3 and still gets that rash even now.
