Any ideas for memento of lost bub? What did you guys do?

    Hi,

Wasn't quite sure how to formulate this, but I want something to remember my little bub that wasn't to be. I would like something that I can carry with me (jewellery) or something that can have a special place in our house. I read someone planted something in their garden, but I suck at gardening and am afraid it would die in no time, which would even make me sadder. We do have an ultrasound print out when our bub's heart was still beating, but we've tucked that away at the moment as it makes us very upset when we see it.
Did you guys buy or make something?

What about a gem baby pendant. They come in different color inc whit I believe. Or a charm to add to a bracelet like a baby foot print or similar. Hope you find a precious memento Hugs.

I also got a tattoo, like you I was worried about a plant dying or being left behind if we moved. My tattoo is with me always.

I also recently brought one of those little cactus things, that don't need much water, so maybe that is an option too?

I don't think I am allowed to leave a link but google 'to write their names in the sand'. Carly writes lost children's names in the sand at sunset, or draws a heart or butterfly if that is what you want & takes a photograph to put on a special website of remembrance. I had one done for our lost bub and bought a copy of the image to keep for always. I'm so sorry to hear of your loss

DH got a keyring with a footprint in it and the inscription '9 weeks' and I have a necklace the same but with the birthstone of the month I would have been due. I was able to wear the necklace in our pregnancy belly photos with DD, its was really nice to look at and see it there Huge

Thanks so much for your thinking of me and for the hugs! And thanks heaps for the ideas! I can't really imagine myself with a tattoo, but I do like the idea, as jewellery you take off and plants you leave at home, so a tattoo is something you carry with you at all times. I also love the "write their names in the sand" and S. Ella's website and her jewellery. I wonder if DP would like something too and the keyring sounds nice...

I was going to get her name written in the sand but i didn't. I bought an outfit.....I have a special candle i light for her and my other 2 angels. But the main thing i did/do is i created a place for her and the other 2 that i can visit. After i lost her DH took me to this beach (as i was a complete and utter zombie and completely broken) and we walked and talked about her and i just sat on the beach and sobbed and sobbed while he held me. When we go there it's 'her' beach, hers and mine. Does that make sense? Massive i am so sorry this happened to you lovely. I wish you all the best and if you need to talk im here xxx

Hi Yas... i guess we were in the same belly buddies group for january 2013 ... am i right? i've lost mine too at 10 weeks unfortunately am still trying to get over it emotionally ... it's too hard...
yesterday i got this idea... first of all i gave an angel name to my bub (Elijah June)... now i'm going to get a pebble from the beach and paint the name on it and keep it somewhere safe in my house... i had also started a pregnancy journal which i have turned into an angel journal with the bub's name... sometimes it feels better having a name to refer to it rather than thinking of it as a mc.... it was the beginning of a new life after all...
i hope this helps you too xxxxx

I have a Pandora bracelet. I was given an Angel Pandora charm for my Pandora bracelet for each of my angels.
I have two Angels on my bracelet now, and in between them are the charms that represent each of my Earthside babies' heartbeat (pink for my DD, and blue for my DS)
In the centre of those charms is a charm of a baby carriage-to symbolise BOTH my children together in union

Sorry to hear of your loss. We both had diamonds put in our wedding bands to remember our little Ellen. I already had two diamonds in my band for each of us....now it has three. I plan to have another one put in for my little earthside DS but hubby just wants the one for Ellen in his wedding band.
We are not tatoo people and don't wear jewelery except on special occasions.

I have a Pandora charm for my angel baby aka sunbeam, so the charm is of a sun amongst the moon and stars to symbolized them in the sky. I'm also playing with the idea of a tattoo of a sun on my wrist which would also be covering up a dodgy tatt I got years ago with something that means a lot to me
