How long do let downs happen for after stopping breastfeeding?

My baby has gone onto a formula called neocate which you get on prescription from a paediatrician for a milk protein allergy. He has been on it for 2.5 weeks and before that it took about 2 weeks to be weaned onto it. I know I still have some milk left but not enough that i need to pump or anything but I am still feeling let downs at various points throughout the day which I am finding really hard as it makes me emotional that I am not breastfeeding anymore so am wondering how long this will happen for. When I weaned my daughter I don't remember having any letdowns after stopping.

I haven't BF in years but sometimes I still get that tingly feeling. Luckily there is no leakage involved.

I am breastfeeding and haven't felt the let down since my baby was a few weeks old - she is now 9 months. I strongly suspect it is one of those things that are wildly different for each woman. Hope it stops soon for you though xx

Yeah there is no leakage (thank goodness) and they are def smaller, I just hate having the feeling when I am not feeding!
