    Human Services Home Page

Australian Government Department of Human Services

your one-stop "shop" for government services
    • Centrelink
    • Family Assistance Office
    • Medicare
    • Child Support

July 2011, the services above all combined under one federal department - Department of Human Services. The websites of each of the services is being combined into this one website at the moment, and eventually all online services will be combined to one logon for all of them (an australia.gov.au logon).

BG - does this site contain the infomation like the old family assistance site did? Like the page that showed you you last payment and your next payment due? I just registered and it has asked me if I want to link to Medicare/ChildSupport/Centrelink - I just want to see what our next payment will be for family assistance and check our child care details. I cant find anything about it at all.

It is possibly right in front of me but I am tired and grumpy today and I cant see it. I tried ringing Family assistance but it is either engaged or over a half hour wait time - I realise its a busy time of year!

on this page, near the top right hand corner, is the log in options - you can choose centrelink as your login option which will allow you to do exactly the same as before - or you can link your c'link file to the login your created. when you log in, it allows you to choose which online services you want to see.

it's very hard to put in writing sorry!

I'm dreading the permanent switch to the new site - I linked my c-link and Medicare accounts ages ago when it was new, but I've lost my login details. There's no way to get it back!
