    Question.. did I stuff up dinner?

    Making Lamb casserole. Using mcormacks (sp) lamb casserole slow cooker recipe base. Dinner has been on since 2pm. At 4 I realized I forgot to add the recipe base..

    Will this cause any issues?? Still has a couple more hours of cooking to go yet

    No way It might not be as flavoursome, because everything else has been cooking for two hours and the base won't have time to seep into it all, but it's not going to ruin the food

    I put it in straight away.. It smells alright. Fingers crossed it is tasty. if not I have raisin toast for later lol
