    Kids bath and soap

What age did you start using soap/bath wash etc... With your kids?
DD1 is 5.5 and DD2 is 3.5, whilst I used Gaia with DD1, DD2 has never been washed in anything other than water due to eczema, I feel that perhaps I shoud be now.

We use Billy Goat soap and sometimes Dermaveen (the wheat oil one) because DS2 gets dermatitis.

I think once they start to reach the school years they need it.

I was wondering the same thing. I don't wash them in anything except water unless they're really dirty. I don't even wash their hair!! It doesn't seem to go oily like mine if I don't wash it though, looks clean all the time, hmm.

We've used Gaia in the bath water until DD was 2-3. She has been 'bathing herself' with the wash on a cloth since...but really, she is still just playing in soapy water!

We use dermeze wash or the QV stuff I'll prolly stick with it forever. We use those sorta things at work too on the oldies that have dry skin or other skin issues.

DDs 1 and 2 (5 and 4) have been washed with soap for ages now - at the moment we are using moo goo milk wash. My kids spend far too much time outside to not use soap, although sometimes I think a sheep dip is more appropriate!!

If you want a cheap alternative with no nasties there is an organic care bath wash/conditioning moisturiser. We still use Moogoo and sometimes she has a bubble bath with the organic care but she's only 18 months so I can't comment really.

Pinetarsol here due to dd2's excema. Not QV, as it dried out DD1's skin when we did try it. The occasional bubble bath and hair wash with Moo Goo when we remember.

I use the Caroline's Cream Bathwash for DS2 who has eczema. I also use it on DS1 as if any normal soap gets in the water, DS2 gets a bad reaction.

We use QV here. Love it and very gentle on all of our skin.

I do wash DD's hair with shampoo and conditioner as that is the only time I can brush it (ie when it is saturated in conditioner) and all the knots are out. That is probably once every 10 days. It doent get oily, just collects pillow fluff, clothes fluff etc. LOL!
