Sounds like the Education Tax Refund maybe?
Yesterday DS had extra money in his account, he receives Youth Allowance and started work 2wks ago. His employer doesn't have any account details for DS, he is on a work trial and no one else has his account details. He rang the bank earlier and they told him the money is from ETR or ECR, DS wasn't sure, asked her who that is and she had no idea. I'm presuming it would be from work but without any details it couldn't be, just got me puzzled.

Sounds like the Education Tax Refund maybe?
I thought that too but he is not in High School this year. He is with a Job Network Agency who are linked with Centrelink, maybe something to do with them. He is going to ask his boss Monday if he got paid, I'm sure it's got to be his pay but stumped how they paid him.

Youth Allowance customers got the Clean Energy Advance, could it have been that? Around $200ish I think.
ETR is payable to Youth customers - if he's doing an apprenticeship it may qualify him for the payment
not sure of the exact criteria for it, but ETR would be from c'link education tax refund - so he'd have to check with c'link if it is valid for him. as long as his youth allowance is set up correctly, (student or job seeker) there is no reason to think it wouldn't be valid
when did DS cease to be a full time secondary student hun?
here is the qualifying criteria
if he was a student on May 8 he would qualify
