    Itchy rash

About a week or two ago I got a rash on my upper left arm. Fairly itchy. Then it sprang up on my other arm then boobs & now it's on my legs & tummy. It is driving me mental! And I'm actually really irritable & have been for days now. We haven't changed washing powder, eaten anything new etc. I did try a new body wash but I had the rash before that & I stopped using it after 2 days anyhow.

Where it started on my arm it looks like eczema but everywhere else it's just random spots. Can eczema be like that? Anyone have any ideas? I always thought eczema was less spotty (i hope that makes sense!)

I should probably just go to the dr but can't really afford to until the end of the week

Moogoo msm doesnt help. Topical steroid cream helps a little bit for a little while but would prefer not to use it.

    Arrrgh so itchy!!!

Pinetarsol may help. Doesnt need to be new foods. While pregnant with dd i developed a strong allergy to strawberries and since then discovered egg diary and dust mite allergy. Have a think about how you feel after eating eggs etc.

I got a rash earlier in this pregnancy and it came from a shower gel that I'd used before and never had a reaction to. Also found that a soap that I'd used forever suddenly gave me a rash across my back. So it's possible that something you're already using and familiar with could be causing it (maybe an ingredient change?). I found creams didn't help and I needed to shower for a while in just water before it settled down.

Hmmm...interesting - I never thought of it being something I already used or ate. We use the aware sensitive washing powder but I'll check the ingredients to see if anything is different. And I'll have more of a think about food - try & identify something I have daily perhaps since it's.not improving. I thought it.might be a post-pg thing but it seemed strange to me to suddenly develop eczema all over without a particular thing driving it.

I have this fear that it's scabies a work colleague told me about a friend who'd had it when they were at uni and it freaked me out

So insanely itchy - definitely worse the hotter i am...it may actually have started just after we had a heater installed (nooooo...i love having heating now!!). Off to the doctor in the morning.

Could it be fungal? Often find these days if a normal excema cream wont work, then one with an antifungal does.
