A) do you want to reuse it
B) is it on wallpaper or paint
c) do you want to keep the treatment underneath or replace that too?
If you have a steamer, you can (very carefully) steam the wallpaper and lift it as you go.
Hi, we have a kidsline wallpaper border in the nursery and now I want to take it off to redecorate. Has anyone done it before, and how did you do it? I read that you can just peel it off, but when I try the front of the paper peels away from the back of the paper and leaves half of it on the wall...

If you don't want to keep it and it's paint underneath you can score it then drench in warm water, should just scrape off. No need for steaming.![]()
Thanks ladies. I'm not planning on keeping it, so I'm happy to ruin it as I take it off. It's paint underneath, so if I can remove it without damaging the paint that will be great, but I had been thinking about repainting anyway, so if I damage the paint I'll say it was fate that I was meant to repaintLol. DD1 is sleeping in there are the moment, so I might try again this afternoon and see how I go

I used a hair dryer on mine - got it off no probs and it left the paint intact too.
kidsline ones are wallpaper not removable/reusable ones.....we have one in our boys room. you have to peel off the top vinyl layer then soak the uinderneath paper bit in warm soapy water using a sponge or similar...... when it is fully wet you can scrape it off with a paint scraper...be careful with the scraper not to dig into the plaster and it should come off nice and cleanly...then just wipe the wall down and voila!!
