Russian food for themed dinner party?

I need to come up with a Russian main course and side dish for a themes dinner party.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I've found lots of odd recipes online but some are just too weird! Thought maybe beef stroganoff but wondered if it was too boring?? Help please!

Cabbage rolls. With mushroom gravy. Yum!! Bit labour intensive but really really yummy. I think so anyways!

Although there is nothing wrong with a nice beef strog too.

Now I'm hungry!
