    Just having a bad day...

I had to go to the GP this morning and their system still says I'm pg. It has been 6 months since the d&c, the EDD is coming up in 2 weeks and the last thing I needed right before going to work was a reminder that I would have been 38wks today if things had gone differently. And because the Dr was running so late I'm stuck here at work until who-knows-when to make up for arriving late and trying to keep that reminder out of my thoughts (which is clearly not working, hence coming here).

It's just a sucky day. Worst part is that, having to stay here at work so late, DD will be in bed by the time I get home, so I won't even get cuddles from her to make it all better.

    That sounds awful

I hope you think of something to make your day go faster. And that your EDD brings some closure. I found it a really peaceful and symbolic day that helped me move on a lot.

I send many hugs and a shed load of virtual chocolate.

Thanks ladies. It was a bad morning.

I've decided it's more important to see DD than finish my work tonight, so I'm heading off "early" and will make up the time at home during the week.

There was also chocolate cake here at work today, so that helped a little...

    *edit*
Sooo close. Was just about to leave when a co-worker asked for help, so now I'm leaving at 7.30pm anyway.

The last two doctors I saw have tried, but it hasn't been entered the right way or something so it's not available to delete where it's supposed to be. At least once it says I'm 42+weeks (if it doesn't automatically delete by then) they'll know I'm not pg without giving my belly a funny look and asking so I have to explain. My preferred Dr remembers and doesn't ask, but she's so hard to get an appt with, even when she's not on holidays.
