Need to request and assessment

But I can't remember what it is for..

Earlier this year when I was made permanant at work, I changed my estimate with Centrelink which due to the figures cut one of the Family Tax Benefits and I was also told that if my earning came under $24K (I think that is the figure), I would need to call and request an assessment for a payment, but I can't remember what it is for. I was told that it is not something that is automatically done, and I would need to to request it. (and of course I can't find the paperwork I wrote it on). I am not even sure I am entitled to it, but I can't google cause I don't know what payment it is.

Does anyone know what it is? Or will it be in my records that I was told I need to request it so when I call the person can look back and see what it is?

I know this is vague, but hoping it is enough for someone to know what it is..
