Some great suggestions here: Miscarriage – What To Say and How To Support Someone After Miscarriage
My best friend gave birth to her little boy yesterday at 18 weeks. I'm absolutely heartbroken and can't imagine the pain she is going through right now. What can I do in the coming weeks to be there for her in the best possible way?
I want to buy a gift for her little one, any suggestions?
What helped you in those early days and weeks after?
Thanks

No advice but just wanted to say sorry for your friends loss. I had a friend of a friend give birth to her baby boy at 20weeks recently and think its just tragic..
A card and perhaps a small ornament, make sure you use bubs name and let her talk about bub, acknowledgement is what mums of angels crave the most.
Oh an try not to use the word 'misscarriage' it's a term that Doesnt sit right with some mums at that gestation, hope that helps
we got given a star named after our DS from some friends...
best gift ever at that time.
we are getting it framed ( 2.5yrs on i still havnt had the strength to do it) to hang in our DD's room
