Easy Yo - the good, the bad and the ugly

My friend gave me an Easy Yo yoghurt maker and some sachets for my birthday. I just made my first batch - raspberry and cream.

Can anyone recommend which flavours are particularly good? Which are particularly bad??

Are the Hansell brand flavours good?

    Any and all input welcomed

    thanks!

the peaches and cream is really nice. i have had an easy yo for about 5 yrs and love it.
the strawberry is nice. and the berry one too...
apparently you can get icecream satchets too but i can't find them here anywhere. my sis used to buy them in toowoomba at only 1 shop. she liked them

    enjoy your new yogurt life!!!

Easy Yo - the good, the bad and the ugly

    Hi,
I've been eating easyo yoghurt for years too. My favourite would be the greek but for fat content I like the low fat Greek and the low fat vanilla. Haven't tried any other flavours cause of the added sugar.

I like the low fat Greek yogurt one, I just add fruit if I want flavor at the time of eating. My kids like the mango the best.

I've seen the icecream packet in big w.

    Thanks everyone

My favourite yogurt in a tub is the Swan brand Greek with Vanilla Bean. I'm going to see if I can replicate that. It has no sugar.

We love our easy yo! have been making yoghurt for years. We often make vanilla and then add whatever fruit to it we like or sometimes honey! Yum!

I use the satchet as my starter only a couple of tablespoons so then they last longer. I use milk powder to make up the rest

Sent from my Galaxy S3 so please excuse errors.

I love that one - haven't seen it around in my store lately though.

My tip is. Use your own starter from your own favourite yoghurt. Steer clear of the flavourings and go for natural flavours, I know they say the sachets are natural but I like to see what's going into my food

Check out some recipes online, but a few tablespoons of your favourite yoghurt can be used as a culture. Then each time you make yoghurt save some of it to use as culture the next time (so long as it's used within 7 days).

Google When I was researching Easy Yo, I came across a fair few DIY recipes. Will see if I can find them again for you.

Just slightly off topic, can soy yogurt be made in it as well?
