    Wink NaNoWriMo 2012

    Are you ready, kids?

I have ideas - so many ideas - already!

I feel like I'm about to pop ...

What I'm doing this time, is almost like a "How I Met Your Mother" style thing, with each chapter being something funny, sad, happy, scary, MEMORABLE in my life. So at the moment, I have about 30 little bits of paper and post-its and similar in a pile on my coffee table, in my diary, on my desk at work jotting down events to write about ... not exactly a novel, but as I know people who have done travel journals etc, I figure writing is writing is writing ... and I'm so excited!!

Best of all it will completely fit into my blog - it will be my November hobby! Writing!

    Huzzah all round!

The hardest part is going to be not letting myself start writing it before November.

But when November its, I'm guessing I will make the 50K with words to spare, because I have at least 100 events written down, and while some will be short (maybe 350 words) some will be more like 5,000 and as long as I do one event per day, I will be great.

Who is joining me this year?

What projects are people working on?

Oh hmm! Is it really time to think about that again? I was so proud to finish this last year... time for a sequal? Or maybe I should just dedicate November to actually editing what I wrote last year since I seem so good at putting that off. Your idea sounds neat and love your excitement now I'm excited... lol.

Hope I can get my new laptop before November now!!!

    NaNoWriMo 2012

NaNoWriMo = national novel writing month.

Idea is to get 50,000 words down on paper in a single month. It has a huge international following.

Good luck PN. Great idea to get all that biographical stuff down.

It is indeed and yes you may.

I'll be blogging about it too.

My ideas have been condensed to thirteen pages of events in dot points.

    Excited!!

I won't be participating on the nano boards but will update here and on my blog

Chrome, guess it must be the work computer, I can get access to other websites. I can log in but it's so temperamental as to what I can or cannot view!

Work has pretty much taken over, sitting at 15000 roughly. I don't mind as I've written so much more than I thought!

Good luck and keep up the great work!

    Thanks!

I'm aiming for 10-15K over the weekend, because if I don't get it mostly finished then, it's likely to not get finished at all.

Next week is looking incredibly busy on the work front ...

    We'll get there!

I wonder how the others are doing ... ?
