    Infant led feeding and sleep

Dd is 10.5 weeks and is feeding well. She has started to go around 6 hours at between feeds, sometimes up to 8.5 hours. She then tends to feed when waking and feed to sleep during the day, so a couPle extra feeds .

Is the long stretch at night ok? I mean I feel great sleeping. just thought if check it's ok for her

Absolutely! No-one hates extra sleep. It's completely normal! enjoy.
do your breasts get full - if they wake you up you might want to wake her for a feed. Your breasts will soon adjust and you will be able to enjoy that extra sleep

Sounds good to me!! Ds2 was 12 weeks on Friday and we are having some 8pm-6am sleeps or 8pm-4am.
Boobs are adjusting now and I am feeling like superwoman the next day! I live by with all my babies to never wake them if they are sleeping! If they Need you they will wake :-)
    Enjoy the sleep!!!!!

my dd is the same age as yours and basically just do what she wants =p we have no routine...which i do think about occasionaly, but basically if she wants to suck i offer the boob, if she looks tired i put her to sleep - during the day this is often unsuccessful and even though you can see she is tired in her eyes she is still happy and playing i let her play. on the odd occasion she gets grizzly i will push her to sleep - by going somewhere quiet tv off etc and do a combo of rocking and singing and feeding. at night 90% of the time she sleeps from 10ish to 6ish (often with only 1 or 2 1hr naps in the day) if she does wake during that time is normally only once cause she has wind and then she is easily resetled with a feed.

    sent via my vortex manipulator!

edit ~ i think i posted this in the wrong thread but will keep it anyway. basically yep long stretch is great (esp at night!) if she is hungry or uncomfortable and needs you she will wake up. so enjoy it!!

Likewise here too Little_o. I've had to get up and express a couple of times because I've woken swimming in milk and really engorged and painful, but that's a small price to pay for 6 hour blocks of sleep. Enjoy it. I also hate to say it may not last so enjoy it while its here.
