Do you have what I call a snot sucker? Get from the chemist and usually comes with a saline spray. The sucker is fantastic for sucking out thick snot!
If its green tho it is usually a sign of infection or something yukky so maybe get her checked out!
As for the poos its pretty normal for bf babies to not poo everyday. Lots of bicycle leg movements and warm baths can help :-)

Poor baby. Bf babies can go for up to 12 days without a poo so don't stress.
I thought thick green not meant an infection? Maybe take her to the dr?

I think green or yellow is a sign of infection so I'd definitely be heading to the GP.

I find taking her in a shower as hot as she can deal with is way more effective than a humidifier. I was also told on the weekend by a GP at a kids' party I went to that humidifiers aren't as good for bubs because they make the air colder, and that what you need is a vaporiser. Don't know if there's any accuracy to that but just putting it out there.

Your poor baby girl. Mine has a snotty nose but touch wood so far its clear. I hope she's feeling much better very soon.

DD# had the same around 4/5 weeks the GP checked her over and she was okay. We both found the snot sucker too traumatic but the saline drops worked well and seemed to loosen it all up . We used it just befre a feed. Poor bub is exposed to a lot of lurgies thanks to having a big sister that brings them home from school

I would be taking he rto the dr at that age, although last time I was there my dr told me green isn't a sign of infection as I thought? Both kids had viral chesty coughs and colds but no ab's needed. I still take them to be sure because DD used to get ear infections and the only way we knew was a spike in temp.

As for no poo - DS went 11 days once, no huge poo at the end like some predicted, then went anohter 10 days after that! Body is amazing at processing breast milk!!! Hope she gets better soon xooxox

Tanstars right green doesnt always mean its a bacterial infection, viral infections can cause green snot too!

It's likely it's viral and a GP can't do much anyway except check her temps and colour etc.
Main thing is she's feeding regularly as tiny babies will dehydrate VERY fast.
BM up the nose is good!

As for poo's, ring ABa if you are concerned but that can be pretty normal. Looks like you'll have a poosplosion at the shops or somewhere inconvenient soon

I would take her to docs, breastfed babies can go ages without poo but generally only once they are over 3 months or so, generally a younger baby should be pooing more frequently.
