smelly bits!

My dd2 is 5 and still wets the bed. So she wears pull ups at night. I dont have a problem with her wetting the bed, I know she will grow out of it... been there before..
But, this morning when I took the nappy off, I noticed an off greenish kind of discharge on the nappy. She does from time to time have a bit of dischage in her undies too, but not anything alarming.
She does usually have a bit of a wiffy vgina, I put that down to her being so 'compact', she is a nuggutty type of build, and doesnt always wipe really well, but the discahrge was a bit alarming.
In the last few days she has been complaining of a bit of a tummy ache. So I just make her drink some more water as she sometimes has a bit of a constipation problem. Now Im wondering if its an infection?
Any one else had any problems like this?

Sounds like an infection, off to the doctor! Could be a vaginal infection from not wiping properly? If faeces get into the vagina, it's not uncommon for an infection to result. Given she is complaining of tummy pain and the discharge is green I would be taking her to the GP today, not waiting until the infection gets any worse. Has she had a temperature?

No, no temp, no going off her food (as IF that would ever happen with miss dd2!... she eats like a horse) nothing like that.

Im thinking it is some kind of infection, as she does have quite an um, open vgina!

Im guessing they would have to do a swab. It might be a bit tramatic. Ill have to see if I can get her in with a female Dr.

Turned out to be a urinery tract infection..... antibiotics!

UTIs are really painful. Hope the ABs kick in for her very quickly. xxx
