Any low income earners heard of an extra $900 after tax is in?

Hi we are a low income family and were eligible for the health care card, were on parenting payment partnered and have not held any family assistance back through the year. A couple of my friends have told me that they recieved $900 per child on the completion of there tax is this true???? Gosh I could really use some extra cash.

There is a low income tax rebate. Not sure how much it is though.

It's just a rebate on tax you've paid, not a supplement.

They are probably referring to the Family Tax benefit part A & B supplements.
