Question Need a Present for a 2 year old girl!

    Hi all,

Not sure if this is the right place but I need some help!

DS has been invited to a little girl at Childcare's 2nd Birthday Party....and it's Dora & Diego Themed.

I am very excited for him as they are sort of "Boyfriend and Girlfriend" hehehehehe

I am stuck for idea's on what to get? I do have a 2 year old Neice but because I know what she has at home and what she likes it made the purchase really easy....so come at me with ideas? What would you get a 2 year old if you have no idea what she has or hasn't got?

    Thanks for you help!

    P.S I have a budget of $20 ish

Books, A few good "hard page" books, interactive ones are always a favourite.

Dolly or a pram, can never have to many...

colouring in book with some crayons...

    Thanks for the suggestions!

I did see a good Dolly / Pram combo at Kmart the other day

You know I was thinking along those lines something to keep them occupied, like books and colouring books might be an idea

my 2yo dd has just discovered Duplo and is loving it! The best part is that her 4 yo sister is enjoying it too so I can see a few years worth of use.

She also loves the fisher price little people, puzzles, playing kitchens, cars, trains, books and dolls. I guess the theme is simple construction, make believe story props and/or playing out being just like mum and dad.

The good thing about Duplo or little people is that even if you have a bit, more never goes astray as you can just build your set.

My DD1 got a dress up set for Christmas last year (she was 2yrs 3 months at the time) that was $15 from Kmart. It has 4 pairs of plastic high heels and some plastic 'bling' jewelery and she LOVES it! So do all her little friends for that matter, the boys included! It's so funny when we have play dates at our house and they come wandering out in the jewelery and heels!
