It is with great pleasure that I announce the arrival of

AVA ELIZABETH!

Here is the message I received from Lisa only a few minutes ago...

Miss Ava Elizabeth arrived butt first at 11.38am today, 21.8.12! Induced labour but had an awesome midwife who let me labour fairly freely off the bed. Used the gas and was stitched for a 2nd degree tear. Feeling tired but good. Ava is lovely, teeny tiny at 2825g or 6lb 3oz, 34cm head but no length recorded as yet - due to stubborn breech position she's not too cool with being unfolded yet! Feeding very enthusiastically despite tiny mouth so very hopeful that feeding will go a lot better this time Yay!!!!!
