    Cheese making kits.

I want to buy SIL and lil bro' a cheese making kit. Can anyone recommend a website or brand?
They are beginners but I know they will be right into it if they have the right equipment and information.

If you want a small kit try mad Millie's, the kits are much smaller then cheeselinks and are great for first timers.

Do they have unlimited access to unhomogenised milk?
Cause its expensive and you use lots.
Think like 10 ltrs for maybe 1kg cheese.
I bought a kit from chesselinks and it is actually a little more complex than i thought, (well, alot)
After you have made the cheese, it needs to cure in quite specific climatic conditions, you really need a wine cellar or somesuch.
This, of course if for the hard cheeses, the soft ones are easier, but by no means very easy.
I never actually made any cheese, as much as I would have loved to, my climate does not suit and its too expensive to experiment.
Will stick to my yogurt , chooks and vege patch
Cheeselinks do courses though, in fact manyt boutique cheesmakers do, maybe start with a voucher to do a course?.
Thats what I am going to do when I have the time (in 20 years or so lol)

If you go on to youtube and search for mad millie cheese, there are a whole set of instrustional videos about making cheese. They are very handy so you can see exactly what they should look like through each stage.

My BIL got a mad millie's one from his DW for his birthday and it looks pretty good. Contains lots of bits that you need and clear simple instructions. I was suprised by how long cheeses take to mature. They also sell an insulating container bit for extra but SIL reckons they will be able to use their easiyo thermos container for that part, so she didn't bother buying it.
