you mean allergies?
intolerances I think you have to test with an elimination diet and food challenges.
Where can I get tested for food intolerance? Does it cost or does medicare cover it? Can my GP do it?

No, I did mean intolerances. Thought there may have been a test for that too

No, I don't know that there are.Maybe speak to a dietician?
My DD had a blood test at 15 months to check for protein intolerances, it was done through a naturopath.
Thanks. I'll look into a natropath

There are breath tests.
For lactose, sucrose, fructose and one other I can't remember.
I had to pay for 3 out of my 4 tests. $60 each but I did find out the reason for my IBS. I am fructose (fruit sugar) intolerant.
Oh and my GP ordered them. But had to go through the women's and children's hospital for them.
My gp is being a bit reluctant.

I have had IBS for over 10 years and had tried most other tests and elimination diets.
Try a food diary
Have got some exercises for my transverse abdominis muscles and have cut out several possible allergens from my diet and have lost 1cm off my stomach over night, after one day. Could be the start of something very exciting!!!
