Urgent tmi hameroids

I think one has burst and I can't stop the bleeding there is so much.
What do I do??? The toilet water is bright red!!!

Oh my gosh! I'd ice it immediately and call nurse on call. I'm not sure if you need to go to hospital or not? Maybe the ED? You poor thing.

I think you may need to see a dr. I read something once that they need to be cauterized (is that the word) if they burst

Can you Hold pressure on it to clot the bleeding?

If not, ED def!!!

I just googled. It is normal for them to burst and bleed. If the bleeding hasn't settled down within a couple of days then see a dr.

It says to place a sanitary pad there and have a warm bath to keep the area clean. And ice will help as well

Sounds to me like you've burst a vessel when pooing. I've had that before. Once the pressure is gone, it will stop. It is scary I admit - freaked me out!

I called the health nurse who said to keep applying pressure. It seems to have settled now but bled for about 15mims consistently. I've never had one bleed like that before. I'll need to go back and see the dr.
