    Budgeting: Tracking Spending via App

Just wondering if anyone knows of/uses an app that tracks spending - so one I can update on my phone when I spend money at the shops etc and see how much we've spent for the fortnight.

Not looking for a budget spreadsheet for the computer.

I have one, but I haven't used it yet, Professor does the money. It's called EEBA, and it gives you envelopes to set up your budget, and when you spend money from a certain area, put it in and it tells you how much you have left

I just downloaded EEBA - it looks great and user friendly. I like that it's an easy thing to update (on your phone). Thanks Keike!

I am bumping this as I want an expense tracker too. Eeba too complicated for me at this stage as don't know where I spend anything so can't put it in envelopes yet! Just want to be able to setup categories and track everything as I go. Don't want links to bank accounts or enter income - just expenses.
Sorry Fiona, not hijacking - just thought we might want the same thing.

I use one called 'Budget'. I think it's pretty simple to use once you've configured your initial budget.

I had a look at EEBA as well. Not really suited to us. I did not want to be stuck with picking only one period for the expenses, even though I could state income as either weekly, monthly, fortnightly etc. Plus I go to great detail with my expense categories.
ETA: I noticed that if I search on "Expense tracker" a different lot of apps comes up compared to searching on "Budget" (This is with Google Play)

We use Home Budget. Really easy to use and it syncs across devices so DH enters stuff on his phone through the day and when he gets home it adds the data so I can see allot all on the iPad.
