    Wont keep nappies on.

DD2 wont keep her nappiesd on, cloth or disposable. She wants to wear undies like her sister. So I got the potty out and I put the seat on the loo which she is happy to sit on but wont do anything. When she needs to wee or poo she goes and grabs a nappy for me to put on her. I try gtting her to sit on the potty or loo but she wont go.

What should I do, persist with her without the nappies, hide them so she can't go grab them and keep putting her on the potty/loo.

Or do I just persist with putting the nappies back on her everytime she takes them off.

DD1 was very easy to TT but DD2 seems to just want to copy but not actually do it. Is what she is doing still a sign to start?

    I am a bit confused.

What happens if you take her to the toilet when she brings you a nappy?

If she know when she needs to go that's a good sign she is physically ready, but maybe not quite emotionally if she is insisting on wearing a nappy to do it. I would just go with the flow. Keep offering the toilet but if she says no then pop her in a nappy. It won't last forever and it's much easier to be relaxed about it and slowly make progress than both be stressed and get no where iykwim?

She will be be 2 mid November.

Thanks Calluna, that is what I was trying when she brought me a nappy but she wont actually do anything on the potty/loo. I don't want to make it into a stressfull time, but my problem is that if I am not there when she takes off her nappy and there is #2 on it and her bum it gets a bit messy. I tried putting the undies over the nappy put that did not help her want to keep them on. I know like everything it wont last forever thankfully.

Oh she takes it off after doing poos! That's never good. Haha!
What kinds of nappies do you use? Would nappy pants work? The new coles ones are about $13 a pack and I'm very happy with them.
Or putting a onesie over the top?

She is natural stripper. Is does not matter what I have put over her nappies she gets them off. That is why I thought I would get the potty out but that is not working either. Guess I could try the nappy pants but I don't like my luck. Duct tape, now that would work.

I would persist, maybe when she asks for a nappy put it on her, but then put her on the loo. Maybe then she will get the idea a bit more? Then maybe in a while you could take the nappy off midway through so it goes in the loo? Maybe that will get her to make the connection some more.

But honestly DD1 was awesome to tt, DD2 was a nightmare, and it resulted in me making a massive deal with her.. yep I bribed her, and I obviously wasnt thinking at the time and was desperate.
