4 month old and a cough HELP!!

Ive been struck with the cold- sore throat, blocked and runny nose, headache and cough.
Dd has been a bit grizzly in her sleep and starting to cough. Is there anything I can do to help her with it? Any way of preventing it getting worse?

DS2 is 6 weeks and just getting his first cold, it totally sucks! We have a snotty one (google it lol) it sucks out their snot! Reduces the length of a cold due to removing the snot so they are not circulating it through their system. Iykwim??

Otherwise Vicks or euckybaby rub. We used to use a vaporiser but found ds1 got more chesty (that he's prone too) so we don't bother now.

Miss A is just coming out the end of her gazillionth so far. Lots of hot showers for steam, baby balsam EVERYWHERE - souls of her feet then socks then onesie, on her chest and on her back, on the top of your breast (well out of her suck range) so it helps while she's feeding. Limeslice gave me the great tip of eucalyptus oil on a hanky near her head in her cot/bassinet/cradle whatever. I ended up getting a plug in vaporiser by Sudafed and that did wonders for her overnight.

I hope your poor little girl is better soon (you too). I hate seeing the tiny bubs struggling with colds.
