Richmond, North Richmond or Windsor NSW

    Hi,

We're thinking of having a bit of a tree change (we currently live in a northern Sydney suburb) and have looked around at Richmond, North Richmond and Windsor NSW. Can anyone share the good points / bad points about any of these suburbs. What are schools like (we have a 6 and an 8 year old)? Crime rates? etc. Anything really to enlighten us a bit more. We will be renting so not too permanent, we just need a change.

    Cheers,
    Hannah

Don't go Windsor......although the shops are ok, depending on where in Windsor you go will depend on how nice the area is.
North Richmond is nice and the schools there are good. Richmond is nice too.
Having worked out there if I was picking where to go based on school zoning, I would go north Richmond.
Still close enough but still a nice tree change.

I really like north Richmond, we looked there a little while ago but didn't end up moving there. I do also like Windsor and Richmond but depending on where you are they can be really bogany.

Im in Richmond and have lived here for 7 years now, but also grew up here. Love it...really nice, schools are also good (I teach in the area too).

Biggest problem with North Richmond is the traffic. It is always impossible to out and in during peak hour times. It can take a good 45min-1hr at times. Depends if you work over that side or not as to how that will affect you.
