DD's teeth came through in a highly ordered way, generally 2 at a time so she was pretty symetrical most of the time.
DS has had his middle bottom teeth for awhile now, and i kinda thought he would follow the same pattern but now 2 teeth have come through at the top, but they are not the middle two but the next ones out. Is this going to create problems?
I haven't had braces or any work needed at all. DH had braces and teeth removed etc as a teen. Is this a bad sign DS might be following DH's pattern and we should start saving for dental work?
Yeah it's normal DD2 has cut hers differently (my others were fairly textbook but in big lots, either 2's, 4's or once 5 at a time). DD2 tho cut 2 at the top first, bugs bunny style, then 1 at the bottom, then the next two up top, then the 2nd bottom one came through, and then she cut all four molars pretty much (I think.. haven't checked lately LOL) and she's only just cutting the ones next to the bottom front ones. All a bit higgledy piggledy.
As for dental work.. I'm not sure you'll really know that til their adult teeth come through. We have some awful teeth to pass on, mine were tiny and gappy with a cross-bite, so I had braces and caps etc. DH has overcrowded teeth at the bottom which were never fixed. I do worry that because DS has such neatly aligned teeth (perfect really) that there simply won't be room there for the adult teeth to come in (if that makes sense). The girls teeth are straight too, but seem to have a bit more room somehow. I was hoping they'd be a nice inbetween of my gappy and DH's overcrowded LOL. Only time will tell I guess. We have private health which will help cover orthodontics if needed.
