Tooth fairy is poor here- front tooth is any silver coin, back tooth is gold coin.

Yeah ours too. I think though it's also to make up for the fact the first few fairies were a bit forgetful. We made a complaint and came to the conclusion the first few got stuck at the pub and lost their way. The new ones are pretty efficient though. The old ones also used to leave Edward Cullens ashes everywhere which was such a pain in the butt to clean up. But the new one likes to make the water a magic colour instead. Which suits me better. Damn fairies.

Whatever we have in change - no set amount but usually between $2-$5.

Upon saying that my silly silly silly father gave DD1 $50

when she lost her first tooth and so he subsequently had to do the same with DS and will with DD2 as well. Talk about a sucker for a grandfather! Thank God the kids are sensible and they put it towards big "items" they were saving up for..
