Child care rebate entitlements if you have been made redundant while on mat leave?

GF of mine has just received a phone call from her boss wanting to catch up with her next week. She thinks it will be to made her redundant as he didn't elaborate over phone why he wanted to catch up. She is currently on mat leave with DD2 and has her DD1 in day care two day as week for which she is receiving CCR. She doens't qualify for CCB.

Question is will she still be entitled to CCR if she is made redundant? Or will she no longer qualify as she won't fulfill the requirements. Her DD2 is 4.5 months old so she hadn't intended to go back to work for at least a year and won't be able to say she is looking for work.

She hasn't been able to find the answer on the various government websites so any advice or info on where she should go would be great.

i believe if she is on paid or unpaid maternity leave with the intent to return to work (whether same or other employer) she should be ok

I was under the impression you couldn't be made redundant while on mat leave unless its voluntary?

She thinks they are closing the company down so if that is the case I think they could make her redundant. I was made redundant prior to having my DS and there was two girls on mat leave at the time. Our business owners closed all operations in Australia so everyone including those on mat leave were made redundant. Will check out the link Mum2sweetsCs - thanks

But am hoping what BG said it true. End of day she has had the intention of taking year off and it is not her fault if the business closes. BG I know I've seen you posting links before any idea where on the government website she could look up this sort of information.
